Senior Consulting Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of claims specialists in advising and assisting the project owners and contractors on claims matters
- Project commercial issues and disputes on various industrial projects
- Provide claims preparation and analysis
- Provide forensic project scheduling and administration
- Advise the team on contract interpretation, claims management, claims assessment methodologies and claim resolution strategies
- Provide reports on claim development progress
- Coordinating with all concerned parties involved in the project to generate a consolidated claim package
REQUIREMENTS
- 10-15 years experience in the construction field
- Professional Engineer license, preferred
- An advanced degree and/or industry certifications such as Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred
- Experienced in delay and disruption analyses, scheduling, direct costs and prolongation costs
- Fluent in communication and report writing skills
- Able to strategically plan the methodology and approach for claim settlement
Claims Analyst
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support a team of claims specialists in advising and assisting the project owners and contractors on claims matters
- Project commercial issues and disputes on various industrial projects
- Assist in claims preparation and analysis
- Research, analyze, and forensically interpret project data and report to claims team
- Potential temporary allocation to project sites for coordination meetings
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 3-5 Years of experience in Construction with exposure to project management, construction claims, and/or dispute resolution
- Fluent in English, and Arabic (preferable)
- Basic knowledge of project scheduling/ planning principles
